School Meals

School meals are prepared on site and provided by Chartwells. Children can choose whether to have a cooked midday meal or bring a packed lunch. A wide variety of healthy hot meals are prepared daily. Main dishes always include a vegetarian option and allergies are catered for.

Should your child have an allergy or intolerance and require a special diet, kindly complete the following form:

Free School Meals

All pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal every day under the Government's 'Universal Infant Free School Meals' initiative.

From Year 3, some children may qualify for a free school meal if their family meets the criteria (this is known as Free School Meals). If you meet the entitlement for this, we strongly encourage parents to apply as the entitlement would continue through your child’s time at primary school, even if you no longer fulfil the criteria at a later date. This in turn also enables the school to access Pupil Premium funding which is used to further support pupils. If you think you may be eligible, please go to:

Nut allergies

We are a nut free school. If your child is bringing in a packed lunch, please ensure it is free of nut products.

Payment

School lunches are payable in advance via ParentPay. Parents will be given an activation letter for this facility when their child moves up to Year 3, or if joining the school in Years 3 to 6.
